Juice factories generate large amounts of fruit pomace (such as apple pomace, orange pomace, and grape pomace) during production. This type of pomace has an initial moisture content of 70%-85%. If left unused, it can easily spoil, become rancid, and breed mosquitoes. This not only pollutes the environment but also wastes the pomace's rich dietary fiber and nutrients. The entire line comprises four modules: pretreatment - drying - cooling - collection. The configuration can be customized based on the juice factory's daily processing capacity (5-50 tons). The system includes a conveyor belt, crusher, and impurity removal screen to break up agglomerated pomace into 2-5cm particles, removing pits and plastic impurities to prevent clogging of subsequent equipment. A drum dryer is combined with a hot air furnace (capable of burning natural gas or biomass pellets). The dried pomace is cooled to below 30°C in a cooler, then graded and screened by a vibrating screen. 1. Feed Processing Ingredient: Dried pomace is rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It can be directly crushed and used as "pomace feed" for livestock and poultry such as cattle, sheep, and chickens, or mixed with other ingredients to make pelleted feed. This is in high demand and generates additional revenue for juice factories.
2. Organic Fertilizer Ingredient: If pomace contains a small amount of sugar (such as grape pomace or apple pomace), it can be mixed with livestock and poultry manure and fermented to produce organic fertilizer for use in orchards and vegetable gardens, achieving a circular economy of "juice production - pomace processing - planting," in line with the development of green agriculture.
3. Biomass Fuel: For juice factories that do not require feed or organic fertilizer processing, dried pomace (moisture content 12%-15%) can be directly used as biomass fuel for heating in the factory's boilers, replacing some coal or natural gas and reducing production energy costs.
