Wood chips refer to small and medium-sized wood chips formed by cutting or crushing larger wood blocks such as trees, branches, logging residues, stumps, roots, wood waste, etc. Wood chips can be used as biomass solid fuel. When the moisture content of wood chips is high, they need to be dried first. The moisture content of dried wood chips is reduced, the energy loss during combustion is reduced, and the calorific value is increased.

Wood chip drying production line usually consists of the following equipment:

1. Wood crusher: crush raw materials such as trunks, branches, bark, and wood blocks into wood chips.

2. Vibrating screening machine: screen the crushed wood chips to remove impurities and particles that do not meet the specifications 

3. Wood chip dryer: core equipment for drying wood chips.

4. Material conveyor: used to transport wood chips between various equipment.

5. Pellet machine: make dried wood chips into pellets for easy storage and transportation.

6. Hot air system: provide heat source for the dryer, usually using a biomass fuel hot air furnace or other heating methods.

7. Dust removal equipment: such as cyclone dust collector, used to collect dust generated during the drying process to reduce environmental pollution.
