The cassava residue dryer is a specialized drying equipment developed to address the high moisture, high viscosity, and easy clumping characteristics of cassava residue. It fundamentally solves the pain points of fresh cassava residue (moisture content 55%-85%) being prone to rotting, difficult to store, and unsuitable for direct feed/resource utilization. It can dry it to a moisture content of below 12%-15% in a single pass, making it a core piece of equipment for starch factories, alcohol plants, and livestock farms to "turn waste into treasure" from cassava residue.
Utilizing a drum-type co-current drying process, wet cassava residue is fed into an inclined rotating drum via a feeder. Special lifting plates and a dispersing device inside the drum continuously sprinkle the material, forming a uniform material curtain. Clean hot air from a hot air furnace fully contacts the material, and through a strategy of "low-temperature, high-volume start-up and gradient temperature drying," moisture is rapidly evaporated. The entire process is controllable, ensuring uniform drying and nutrient retention.
